This lady is superb!

Probably dating from 1860-1890, this French walnut sofa has intricate handcarving on the arms. The frame has the perfect proportions for a small, yet comfortable two person sofa. Both the frame and cushions have been beautifully restored. The cushion inserts are a feather/foam mix.

Upholstery fabrics, sure to produce envious ‘wows’ from friends - hand embroidered crewel fabric and the iconic ‘strawberry thief’ from William Morris. Piping is silk.

The intriguing piece has an unusual provenance, once belong to the David Jones family estate.
